Linwood Park is not a ghetto. In fact it is one of the best places in Fort Lee to live for the money. No, I do not live there but I know a lot of people who do. It is an apartment complex, not a luxury building, but it is home to some very nice Fort Lee residents. I live within walking distance and yes, I walk alone at night, and no I have never in over 22 years encountered any criminal activity!

The complex is located in a prime location next to a small shopping mall and not far from the brigge. If you do not drive bus service runs throuhout the day along Linwood Avenue. In the winter you are given plenty of heat, the downside to this, is that you have no control over how much. The complex also has security patrol.

I have been in two exceptionally beautiful apartments in Linwood. I have heard there are others also, so do not judge by the outside look of the building! Some of the apartments do need some extra work, but they are in liveable condition. Some people who have the large oneb studios, divide and make them into two rooms, so there is a lot you can do to get the look you want without paying luxury prices.

I have found that most of the people living there are relocated NYC residents.
