Hey Thank you very much! I have been looking online for quite some time but in all the wrong places, it seems. She has taken to my other half very strongly but as you said it seems to be more sexual in nature! Since he and I have been living together she seems to be keeping two very distinctive relationships with the both of us. Myself, she relies on for her afternoon walks in the park and for her verbal learning; and for Him, she gets all of her snuggles and "rough housing" kinds of play. I guess it just took me time to adapt from being the only one,(before she wouldn't let anyone else hold her or snuggle her) to being one of two "very important must haves" in her little birdie world =) In addition, I have had an urge to add another quaker to our parrot loving family for her to express her physical needs with, for it's only fair! So, I do plan on doing that soon. The only thing holding me back is this, many avian experts have warned me that when you get another bird of the same species and opposite sex for an existing domestic bird, the bird will do one of two things. #1 being that the bird will decide it only likes birds and shun ALL humans away, or #2 Correction of the behavioral problem (if you could even fairly call it that) through means of physical satisfaction. I suppose I would be very mean and bitey too if I didn't get my fill of hugs and kisses from the one I have chosen :) Regardless, I am searching for the perfect mate for her, hehe. Maybe I should take her with me and let her do the choosing! She deserves it. Thanks for the advise by the way, it was EXACTLY what I have been hoping to find! Take care Mr. Smart!
Always,
Jessi Marie
