Online petition gets almost 1,700 signatures so far

The online petition in support of the continued existence and operation of The Bottom Line nightclub in Greenwich Village has almost 1,700 signatures thus far, including signatories from 41 states and the District of Columbia, Japan, Greece, Belgium, Australia, Israel, the U.K., Germany, Holland, and Canada. Signatories include a number of well-known musicians, actors, comedians, writers, radio personalities and DJs, and other artists, including Beverly D'Angelo, Paul Shaffer, Richard Belzer, Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young) Larry David ("Curb Your Enthusiasm", "Seinfeld), Andy Summers (formerly of the Police), Robert Wuhl ("Arliss"), Michael Rapaport (of Boston Public), Richard Lewis, Yanni, Carol Leifer, Jackie "The Jokeman" Martling, and many others.
