Coytesville Days - the 1950s

Hello everyone!
I grew up on 6th Street in Coytesville from 1952 until entering the Navy in 1961. Went to OLF in Fort Lee and St. Cecilia's H.S. in Englewood. My sister Fran went to Fort Lee High and my brother Jim attended Holy Trinity elementary before my folks moved west. A few of the people people I remember are the Lowe family (Billy, Larry, Johnny, George, Winnie & Mary)who lived on 7th Street, Father Geiger at Holy Trinity church, the Zimmerman boys (Billy & Andy) and Bill Koenig who lived on 6th Street and the Quinn girls (Gail & Jackie).About three years ago I went to my 40th high school reunion in Englewood and visited Coytesville for the first time since 1961. Very depressing. As they say "You can never go home anymore!". The only places remaining from the fabulous 50s were Bobanell's liquor store and Holy Trinity church.
Sorry for rambling but I would love to hear from anyone else who remembers the "golden days".
