Hey, nice to hear from a fellow Coytesvillian...I was born and raised in Coytesville and graduated from HT School and remember Father Geiger well. I still live in Fort Lee and Coytesville still retains its charm though many homes are gone. Gus Becker's (Rambos) saloon is still there and recently renovated on First Strreet but no longer a saloon. In fact the Coytes just where in town a few weeks back and will return on their annual trek to Coytesville in August 2005. They are working to maintain and establish ownership of the cemetery off of Irving Avenue / Hickory Street just over the border in Englewood Cliffs. And check out the website www.fortleefilm.org and learn of the oldest standing motion picture studio building in the USA..it is on a dead end street (5th St.) in Coytesville and the building is a printing plant today but it is a remarkable piece of living history. Check out the Fort Lee Museum as well (1588 Palisade Ave.) and the Fort Lee Histoircal Society web site www.fortleehistoricalsociety.org.
