My dad was Peter McGuire. We lived on the corner of Washington & 7th Street.My Dad was very active in Holy Trinity church and the Fort Lee Homeowners association. Our neighbors were Bertha Heil and her daughter Helen, the Dagles, the Rooneys and the Meeghans. Pat Rooney was my Maid of Honor. I married in 1957 and moved to Cliffside Park where I still live. Coytesville was truly a beautiful place to live. It's hard to visualize how it was then, when you drive through the area now.
