Here's some information I found easily by Googling "Boland farm orphanage". It says that the site is now the Highland Park residential development.
The following is an excerpt from a publication: "The Influence of Hungarian Immigrants in Peekskill" by John J. Curran, assisted by Donald Sabo, 1996. The booklet is available at the Field Library in Peekskill, or purchased for $5 from John Curran, P.O. Box 84, Peekskill, NY 10566.
The site of the Peekskill Hat Factory property had once been a farm, then an orphanage. The land had once been the Boland Farm, established in 1871 as a Catholic Reform School for boys. Captain Boland had purchased the 365 acres of the Sherwood Farm. The nearby Highland Park residential development was built on land of this former Boland Farm.
