Just got my computer last year. Just came upon this site. It brings back so many memories , I was born and raised in Fort Lee. Lived on Anderson Ave and then Slocum Way. Have been living in Fla. for the past 30 yrs. Pentifallo mentioned Mr. New. My father, Johm Lynch new him very well. And you also mentioned Kaufer's Lane and also Charlie Kaufer. His mother Grandmother, Anna Kaufer was my mother's aunt. And Charlie was her second cousin. My mother worked with his Aunt Elsie in the cafeteria at the Indermediate School on Still Ave. Do you know the were abouts of Charlie Kaufer. Another cousin of mine was putting together a family tree and was wondering the whereabouts of Charlie. You also mentioned the Certo family. I went to Our Lady of Fatima with Valerie and I think her brother was Peter. They lived at the edge of Main St., down the hill, but you knew that. Remember the Anderson family who lived down there near the Certo's?
I'm 62 yrs old and graduated Fort Lee High School 1960. My maiden name is Lynch. Would love to hear from you.
