I know this wasn;t meant for me me, but my dad, John Lynch was friends with the Hawkins from Fort Lee. I also went Our Lady of Fatima, graduated 1956 and also on to Fort Lee High School, Class of 1960. Remember Sister Marie Therese, the music teacher from OLOF and also Sister Rose? I could go on & on. Have been living in Fla. since 1974 but miss the good old days of Fort Lee. You mentioned Peter Certo, I went to OLOF with his sister Valerie and what about the Anderson family on the bottom of Main St.? What a gang they were If I'm not mistaken I think Monsignor Morrissey helped them out alot financially. Have you been up there lately? The last time I was there was 1995.As you know the town went Oriental. But Fort Lee Hardware is still there. Harry Holtje passed away a few years ago and also Mr. & Mrs. Helmut Feiler of the Atla 5 & 10 store are deceased. There son Michael closed the store down. Didn't your dad work for garbage pick-up in Fort Lee? I hope you don't me sending you this post. I've been e-mailing quite a few I met on this site who are also former Fort Lee-ites.
