Dave 9x: Your post was rather disjointed and somewhat hard to follow, but if I understand correctly, you imply that someone stated that diversity requires a white majority. I don't think that's necessarily true. Fort Lee is a a diverse town of Koreans, Japanese, Chinese with a variety of other ethnic groups (first generation Russians, Slavs,other non-English speaking Europeans) but I do think it is fair to state that upper middle class whites will probably buy elsewhere if that diversity comprises more than 50% of the town's population. And they buy elsewhere for the same reason that the Asians and other non-Englsih speakers chose Fort Lee -- the whites want to be with their own kind just as much as the "diverse" ethnic groups.
So the evidence would seem to indicate that all of these groups are equally racist, since they choose Fort Lee for the same reason that established, English speaking whites tend to avoid it -- that is-- to be with their own and feel comfortable.
Lastly, your reference to "3/5 of a vote", a reference to slavery in the U.S. pre-Civil War is simply irrelevant to the discussion. No poster in this thread says that minorities shouldn't be allowed to buy wherevever they want. The point is that Fort Lee has ceased to be a town where many whites choose to buy a home, and the result is more and more mostly Asian minorities, and ultimately fewer whites. Taken to its natural conclusion, the diversity of Fort Lee will essentially exclude whites.
