your culture is being pushed out? in what ways? i would like to know what specifics about your culture is being pushed out. native americans' culture has been forcibly attacked in the past, yet they seem to have maintained their culture.
in regards to schools where half the kids come from homes where english is not the first language, how is that such a detriment? are we sending the wrong message to the children? should we tell them that attending a school with minorities is substandard? should we spread the message that anything different from us should be shunned? I chose to live in places that specifically are diverse so my kids will be able to understand and appreciate other cultures. and in the future, they will be the ones leading the global markets of this world.
regarding the changes, i gather you feel left out when you walk around, surrounded by people not of your skin color. it's uncomfortable to be different. it's an uneasy feeling to be excluded, intentionally or unintentionally. well, i can't have much sympathy for you as you walk in the shoes of every minority you shun.
