Hi,
Glad to hear from you. Your the 6th person I'm posting with who all went OLOF. It sure is fun bringing back the memories of the "good old days." I see you were from Coytesville. You mentioned Bill Koenig, I went to school with his sister Dolores. Also the Low's. I went from Kindergarten to 12th grade with John Low. Also Gail Quinn. Still can remember her beautiful red hair. My mother worked with her grandmother in the middle school cafeteria. You also mentioned Patricia Fongaro. Went to OLOF with her sister Mary Ellen. She went to Holy Angels for high school and later became a Nun. You also mentioned Lynn Prince, also knew him from OLOF. Remember Father Donovan and Father Devine? Heard from one of my posts that he passed away about 2 years ago. You also mentioned Father Geiger. He used to be a priest in Union City. My husband knew him. Do you remember Sister Remberta? She taught 3rd grade than the 5th grade. She was my favorite beside the music teacher Sister Marie Terese.
You mentioned "tuna fish" hot dogs. What the heck were they? I never ate luch in the cafeteria. I went home for lunch. I lived on Anderson Ave. a stones throw from the school.
That school has not changed at all. My kids went to Public School #1 and went to school of religion every Mon. at OLOF. We moved to Fla. in 1974.( That was Father Devine who passed away.)
Enough rambling for a while. I could go on and on.
Later,Marilyn
P.S. On one of you messages from last year you gave your e-mail address. If we chat again do you mind if I use that. Is it still johnnyaa@hotmail.com
