SO WHAT?!! Who cares if whites are not buying in huge numbers?! SOMEBODY is buying, and they're paying top dollars! The same thing's happening in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. My parents own a condo in the out-skirts of Chinatown, where the population was mostly Hispanics, Blacks, Chinese and Jews. In the past 5 years or so, there has been a steady infux of rich white kids, and trendy yuppy businesses. My parents aren't complaining. They know they won't live forever,and when they sell, they'll turn a nice profit because of it.

And I laugh when people say that "American culture" is being pushed out. Yes, I'm one of those Asian immigrants you guys are talking about. I worked for my American Citizenship and I'm proud. I served in the military. I work for the Federal Government, and I love my country. The beauty of this country is it's acceptance of all people, and the idea that all people are created equal. American culture is a living, growing thing. We are a nation of immigrants. Right down to the Hot Dogs you eat on Fourth of July, there is nothing in "American Culture" that does not have it's origin in some other culture. Just because you're white and I'm asian, and you crawled out of some hole on American soil, and I didn't, doesn't make you more American than me.
