[Events/Activities] FORT LE MUSEUM EXHIBIT OPENS

The Fort Lee Historical Society exhibit "Fort Lee: Yesterday & Today" is currently on display at the Fort Lee Museum. The Museum is located at 1588 Palisade Avenue (adjacent to Monument Park and the Church of the Good Shepherd) and it is open weekends from Noon to 4pm and weekdays by appointment. The display consists of archival photos of the Main Street area and current photos of those sites as they look today. Also on display are artifacts donated to the Museum including a hope chest dating to the 1860's and belonging to a Coytesville girl - the hope chest has been donated to the Museum by the Rutter family. Call (201) 592-3663 for more information. The next exhibit will open in mid September and is a tribute to the famous nightclub "The Riviera." Included in this exhibit will be rare color film ftg of performers and of the Riviera building exterior and interior circa 1940s. This film was loaned to the Histroic Committee by the family of Jack Bruno.
