Hi Chris & Caroline!
Chris, I graduated from OLOF in 1956 and still have the class picture. I recall our class singing "How Our Things In Glocca Mora" for Monsignor Morissey's golden anniversary. Do you recall "tuna fish" hot dogs on Fridays? I could swear that they were served and that they didn't taste much different than regular hot dogs. I did run into a classmate from OLOF on the net, Michael Paladino, but he wasn't from Coytesville.Caroline, Father Lawlor rings many bells. I was an altar boy and involved with Scouts and the CYO at Holy Trinity. When I revisited Coytesville back in 2001 after at least a 30 year absence I noticed that 6th street is now a one-way street with houses almost stacked on top of each other. I stopped off at Holy Trinity and it looked exactly the same as I remembered, both outside and in. Don't recall any of the other people you mentioned but our family doctor was Dr. Flynn and I'm not sure if any of the Flynns you mentioned might have been related. My sister Fran was much more into social things than I was and I'm sure she would have remembered more folks than I. Unfortunately, she passed away about 5 years ago. Two other friends I had were Danny Ciccarelli, who lived at the end of 6th street and Jack Bernard who lived on the other side of town. Both have since passed on.
Ah-h-h! As someone once said, "Memories Are Made of This!". Nice talking to you all.John
