This is in response to a post by Bill Mitchell. If you went to OLOF with Chris Brosnahan, who I met on this message board, you are younger than me. I was born and raised in Fort Lee. Lived on Anderson Ave. when I went to OLOF. Moved over to Slocum Way in 1955. I went to school with Maureen Devaney. She lived on Tom Hunter Rd. At one time her Dad owned the corner grocery store on Whiteman & Anderson Ave. I remember Jimmy Devaney, and there were more in the family. I graduated from OLOF in 1956. Which end of Whiteman St. did you live on? I lived near Anderson Ave. almost even with the Devaney family on Tom Hunter Rd.You can e-mail me at c.reiser@verizon.net and we can reminisce some more about Fort Lee. Live in Florida now for 30 yrs.,but still have fond memories of "good old Fort Lee"
