Why couldn't your kids "learn to get along with other kids" as you say in a park or mommy and me type class or from playing with neighbors? I didn't go to school myself until I was 5, and I got along wonderfully with other children just from playing with kids around my block. Also, I was far advanced in academics from the one on one time I had with my Mom. I think the first few years are crutial to development , and I certainly am not going to entrust a stranger who doesn't love my child they way I do to teach my child how to be a well behaved well balanced child during that crucial time. They are only small for a short time. They should spend the first few years at home with their mommy or daddy.
