Bill Mitchell,
Just read your post. I don't recognize any of those names you mentioned. But I do recognize Doc Conners. He seemed like an older man way back when. I am 10 years older than you. I never went to him but I think I remember my Mom mentioning his name. Does Charles Ruby live on Maple St. He has a brother, George, whom my former sister-in-law went out with when they were in FLHS in the very late 50's. They were a wild bunch.
I read your post to Chris Brosnahan, who I don't know personally, but we met On Line and have been e-mailing for over a year. Well anyway, you mentioned St. Rose DeLima. She was my kindergarten teacher in 1947 and Sister Remberta was my 3rd grade teacher in 1950 before there was Our Lady of Fatima is where it is now. We were in the CYO Hall that was in back of the nun's convent on Main St. My 5th grade nun, can't remember her name (she was so old than) use to pull up her sleeves from her habit and say "I'll box your years" Sister Rose and Sister Remberta were my favorite nuns.
