All I am saying is you have to give some credit to us who have stayed in Fort Lee and have worked for things such as the Museum and Film Commission. Yes, things have changed in landscape to small degrees in some areas, larger in others - however, the beauty of the Palisades is unchanged, walking along the Hudson under the Bridge where Bunty Hill taught us how to swim (Bunty was a legend in Fort Lee and was a lifeguard on the Hudson River and then Palisades Amusement Park) is still the same. As for Judge Moore - yes he was a real person who lived in that very house - his family owned it up until 1971. It was rezoned and was to be torn down and replaced with a strip mall but many of us fought that and were able to save it when the borough purchased it - we then worked with the borough and as Fort Lee Historical Society members we were successful in raising money with the Borough to restore it and operate it as the Fort Lee Museum. So you see, things actually are great in terms of what we can and are doing. Fort Lee has a great future as well as a great past.
