He would still swim the Hudson practically every day, and used to mark his last swim ever year on the back of a sign at the ramp. I believe the sign limited dock usage to boat owners using the ramp. I used to have a photo which showed his actual last swim on that sign, but cannot seem to find it. He'd often be walking along Main Street...didn't he usually have a walking stick with him?
You say that the Museum is open on weekend afternoons from noon to 4pm? If so, I'll have to check it out.
