Ah yes....finger painting.....if I remember correctly we fingerpainted on either the second or third day of "kiddie-garten" and I wrote my name in yellow paint!!! making clay snakes was the easiest......there's a great FarSide cartoon showing God creating clay snakes and remarking how erasy it is!!! I was always in the "B" classes - the smart kids that actually worked for their grades were in the "A" classes - the "B"s were smart but kinda lazy....I remember my first report card....I left it in my desk because I got a "C" in deportment and was afraid to bring it home...Pop got a hold of Msgr Morrissey and got into the classroom at night, went through my books and brought the card home....
I wasn't punished for the "C" - the good old days when ayou were afraid to bring home anything less than a "B"
