If you've never heard of our popular game series Grand Theft Auto, I don't know where you have been! Well although Grand Theft Auto 3 (also known as Liberty City) has been out since 2001, I just thought I'd let you know your fine city of Fort Lee is featured in the video game. Here are some instructions how to get there.
When you first start the game, you are on an island called 'Portland', which is Brooklyn. After much game progress you will cross the Brooklyn Bridge (not called that in the game though)...and enter Manhattan (which in the game is known as Staunton Island)...go about 3 blocks down and make a right, you will see the George Washington Bridge, cross, and you will find yourself in an island (which in the game is known as Shoreside Vale) and in real life is Fort Lee. It is a very accurate model of Fort Lee, packed with beautiful mansions along Palisades Ave, luxury highrises, and everything else you will find in Fort Lee including fine dining, downtown, and even complete with the most dangerous streets and projects. Overall, this is an extremely accurate model of the city of Fort Lee, so make sure you rent or buy Grand Theft Auto 3 also known as GTA Liberty City
