Marylin,

I was born and raised in upstate New York in a city of about 30,000 people. According to the 2000 census Fort Lee has a population of 35,000 people so the town where I live now is larger than the city I grew up in. However, as Bill Mitchell who responded to this thread accurately points out, the designation between town and city is based on the form of incorporation and government. Of course, for a small town type of person, Fort Lee is very city-like. I say this based on personal experience. Horizon House, where I currently live in Fort Lee, has a greater number of tall buildings than the city where I grew up. Also, the two tallest buildings in Horizon are larger than the tallest building in the city where I was raised. That being said, I enjoy living in Fort lee and I am happy to call it home so that is all that really matters.

PS, glad to hear you are weathering the storms down in Florida. As always, it is nice chatting with you here on the board.
