[Buying & Selling] Is It Worth It?

Hi,
I am looking into buying a condo in a highrise here.
Right now i am renting a house, and was looking at the Palisades Condos.
They looked nice, but I have read a few quotes here saying they might not be worth it.
Would someone mind telling me if it is worth it to plunk down 500k for one of these?
