It's definitely true that the town is becoming more and more populated by Asians, but I think there are just as many caucasians. However, I haven't really heard of gang activity. Once again, people who don't attend FL or parents who have kids who don't attend FL are usually the ones who tend to say that "Oh, Fort Lee has gangs".. but I find that ridiculous. Sure, there are kids who dress as if they are "ghetto" but that's just the way they dress and most kids who go to Fort Lee are actually "preppy", even the Asians. Fort Lee is really strict on getting rid of "problem" students, especially in the high school. And it's true that Tenafly has a great school system. It depends on what kind of atmosphere you want your kids to be in... Fort Lee is more urban, obviously since it's right next to the George Wash. Bridge, but it's still a great and safe town.
