There was a little sliver, a tiny triangle, owned by Fletch Creamer right on the corner. It had a small bill board on it for years. There also was a cinder block bus stop shelter for a while too. Next was a house, I seem to remember the name Pizzaro. Then Sam's and then Feiler's, aka Atlas 5 & 10.
There were a couple of garages behind the house which fronted on Schlosser/Lemoine. Various car repair shops were there, even a motorcycle shop for a while around '72. The garages, triangle and house are now an Asian Bank.
I believe that Sam's French Cleaners moved to Palisade Ave long ago, but the building it was in may still be there. Weren't there steps, probably originally a stoop, right inside the door?
