McMansion jumps to a conclusion when he states that Prospective Buyer does not like Asians. What was stated was that Fort Lee has become predominately Asian and this causes non Asians to think twice before spending $500K-$1 million or more for a house, where non Asians are likely to be a minority in a few years.
Native born Americans are already a minority in Fort Lee schools, as the NJ Report card shows. Should we interpret that to mean that Asians are racist? If they were not, why would they cluster in Fort Lee? Why aren't they spread evenly around other towns rather than being concentrated in Palisades Park and Fort Lee?
Why does a simple statement of facts engender such knee jerk defensive and nasty comments?
Nobody said that Asians are bad people, that they bring down property values, or any other negative statement. It's a simple fact of human nature that people want to be with their own.. whether, white, black, Asian or whatever.
