I'd point out that Prospective Homebuyer simply asked questions. I wouldn't assume he/she is racist based simply on a question about the dominance of a particular ethnicity. It may simply be that he/she doesn't want to subject his/her children to racism, and fears that being in the minority may cause this. It could also be racism, but frankly, Soon, I think you're being overly defensive and overly critical based on such little information.
McMansion, I think Interested Reader was asking about the current buyers and shoppers, not current homeowners.
There is about 30% Koreans and 5% Japanese in the schools (if my memory serves me). Some of the other non-English speakers are Caucasians -- Russian, Polish, Armenian. Personally, I think it's a positive for the district on the whole, though my children have not reached an age where gangs or racism are much of a factor.
