Where did you get your Tenafly price figures from? I just spoke with a realtor and taxes there are almost double than Fort Lee. I also looked at a house in Alpine. Even though the property taxes were a fraction of Fort Lee's, the home prices are significantly more. For the price of a nice 5 bedroom house, you get a 3 bedroom shack that is 100 years old.
