I am a single woman who lives in Linwood park and find it to be very safe. I've never heard about cops being called to the area, nor have I heard sirens at all. The Fire Dept. once in a while, but most times I hear its because of careless tenants. I have a part time job on the weekends and come home late at night, and never had a problem. Still be cautious, but I have never felt unsafe. Also Linwood park has their own security that drives around and I see them frequently. I know alot of my neighbors also take walks at night around the complex with no problems. There always seems to be people around, whether its from the bus pulling in 24 hours a day, or the complex so big and people's different schedules. I really do like the area. Very convient to everything, and Linwood plaza shopping has everything you would need last minute, 24 hour CVS, Kinds, Starbucks, Pizza, Kinkos, UPS store, Etc... Good luck in your search.
