Thanks to Tom Meyers for posting here. Respectfully speaking, I would be interested to know, however, if Mr. Meyers could address the issues raised. Do you think the town faces any particular challenges in absorbing the influx of Asians from an educational or social perspective?

For example: If poster "Mike"s population estimate is accurate: With 30% Asian population in the town, why is the Ft. Lee Council 100% Caucasian? How about the Board of Education? Are there any Asian volunteer firefighters or ambulance crews? How about Little League or other sports league coaches? I'd be curious to know to what extent there is Asian participation in these or any other civic groups.

I'm new to Fort Lee and would be interested if someone with Mr. Meyers' experience and knowledge (or any other long term residents) could share any information.
