I encourage you to contact me so we can discuss projects to preserve what is left of Fort Lee's history rather than throw stones. To be constructive I suggest you join the Fort Lee Historical Society (I have been a dues paying member for over 10 years). They are a group of volunteers that do great work. Volunteer as a curator at our museum or contact the Fort Lee Film Commission and offer your services for the number of great community projects they present. You can never know the number of long nights with little sleep involved in preparing for projects such as the "Movies Under The Stars" program. This summer (at no cost to the borough) we are presenting 13 weeks of concerts & movies in Constitution Park. From June through August (see FLFC website fortleefilm.org for schedule) we will bring the Fort Lee community together. All generations will enjoy what over the past three years has become a series that unites Fort Lee. I am going out to Universal Studios in March (at my own cost) to meet with studio officials who helped sponsor our last film festival in October. We are working with Hoboken and other communities to join forces to bring grants money to North jersey for arts programs just like this one.
So "observer" do more than "observe" - PARTICIPATE".
