Demolishing old or historic builings in Fort lee
is nothinng new - Since Holy Angels (1967) was demolished - it's been a trend that can't be stopped or slowed. Just look at any street in town
and you can see these square brick unattractive
houses that replaced smaller charming houses that had a yard. It has always seemed to me that fort lee's goverment has always "been asleep at the wheel" on this issue! When I speak to other former Fort Lee-ers it's always the same responce -in simple terms - the town has no charm-ugly! Thank Goodness for Tom Meyers-who keeps our memories alive of the way Fort Lee use to be. PS>( I guess I was born 125 yeas to late)
