I was raised in Fort Lee. Now live in Florida for 32 years. I remember that nice big brown house next to Fort Lee Hardware. Did not know the owner. I remember a line of stores west of that house going to the VFW on Center & Main, across from the Post Office. I was told that there were homes there before the stores, probably in the 50's. I lived in Fort Lee until 1974 and I can never remember any homes there. If so, when did they demolition them?
