Hi Jon,
My 4 brothers and I were in the home from September 1974 through May 1976. Not sure when you left, but the memories that I have of the home are similar to yours. We also went to PS #1. Our lives were turned around by entering the home. It enabled my mom to get her act together and provide a propoer home for us.
