How easy is it to rent out your condo/co-op

Hi
I am thinking of purchasing a condo/co-op sometime soon in the Ft Lee area. There may be a chance that I may have to work in another part of the country soon after. How easy is it to rent out the apartment. Are there many management comapnies that can do that cheaply?
Is it worth it?
