I GOT SOMETHING TO SAY

Hi, I have lived in the Coytesville area for the past 35 years, I grew up in the Englewood Cliffs section right on the boarder,of Fort Lee and Englewood. My parents own property here, they have a house, I own an apartment, and a small apartment building, in Fort Lee.
If I had to live anywehre in the Norhteast it would be right here. I would not want to wander out further, like many people who grew up here have.
Afew things disturb me though.
I read the post about changing demographics
and I do not think our political officials care about what the old residents think or how they feel.
When a restaurant opens up to replace an old one and is open 24 hours, and there is a small apartment building next door and the clients of this restaurant make noise at all hours of the night, disturbing the tenants, when U go to the building department to make a complaint, and are told to go to the police, when a client from the restaurant is parking in your parking lot and the police have another answer for u and nothing gets done.
When I am working on an apartment and am parked on MY VERY OWN property and a police officer takes me away from my work, and asks me to move my car, because I am blocking the traffic for the entrance of the restaurant's patrons, I have a problem
When the restaurants patrons vomit, and yell through my tenants windows then break the windows, and the police arrive only to interogate my teanant, as to his work status and immigration status.
I have a problem. When I want to just pave my parking lot, just to make it nice, and I have ot submit a sight plan to pave what is already in existance, I have a problem.
When this restaurant only has 10 parking spots,
and is blocking the flow of traffic. and my drive way, I have a problem.
The quality of life has not improved in this community, especially for my tenants.
I wouldnt want to live next to a noisy restaurant
would U ?
This is what I have to say for now
