either that or trolls and i don't think trolls can really climb trees!

seriously though, i am certain that those are the parakeets. i forgot what they are called. i read this entire report on them and how they came to our area. apparently, from what i remember,they are native to south america and there are countries there who do whatever they can to get rid of them. they are voracious (sic) creatures. years ago, there were several crates of birds brought to the US in the hopes to sell them as pets and (at JFK) a crate was inadvertantly broken and many many birds escaped. they can survive the winter with no problem. if anyone knows their name...i'd love to know.
